It's the last week of Inklings...

When I began this cartoon blog a year ago, I'd hoped to build an audience of people who liked a dumb gag or two to distract from all the awful stuff and to bring a bit of joy.

Unfortunately (for me, anyway) this was not to be. Despite my efforts I only managed to get 157 subscribers and from the stats, fewer than 60% of you look at the cartoons.

The time to renew the site has arrived and I've come to the conclusion that it's just not worth keeping it going for such a tiny audience so this is the last week of Inklings.

This was never supposed to be a money making exercise and I was more than happy for the overwhelming majority of people to subscribe for free. However, if you did pay, THANK YOU SO MUCH. It helped to go towards the cost of the site and some art supplies.

If you have paid for a year up front, please contact me at fkatauskas@gmail.com with the date you subscribed and I'll reimburse you the amount for the year remaining. I'm sorry for stuffing you around.

Even though I'm sounding a bit glum, I really did enjoy doing these stupid gags and I hope at least some of you enjoyed looking at them.

I'm thinking of recycling these cartoons on social media where they can get a much bigger audience and hopefully bring a few laughs so you may see them again on Bluesky and possibly Instagram.

Thanks again for reading and subscribing. This is the third last cartoon but I'll do a couple more to take me to the end of the week.
